An exploration through the chakras 

with Maggie - feb. 25th

This workshop will take us through a brief discussion of the chakras and then a grounding physical practice. We will also practice pranayama, breath work, and finish the experience with a guided meditation.
Maggie will balance sharing the beautiful history of the chakras with a modern understanding of how to experience the chakra system in everyday life.

Whether you are new to learning about the chakras or are looking to deepen your understanding of the energies of the chakras, please join us! Maggie is experienced in guiding new students, new teachers, and experienced teachers. Her personal practice has focused on her relationship with the chakra system since 2015, when she traveled to Rishikesh, India for her teacher training. Since then, she has studied the chakras with master teachers Seane Corn and Rod Stryker, as well as her local teachers.

Bhakti Foundations   

with colette - mar. 4th

Bhakti Foundations (with Colette Marie) is a monthly meditation series rooted in the traditions of Bhakti Yoga. It is a practice that helps one to turn off the mental chatter by focusing on a few key postures/ inversions to help prepare us for meditation as the physical practice was intended.

This practice has three phases, the first being physical movement, through holding specific inversions and postures, the second, being seated meditation and the third final relaxation. The seated meditation portion is a guided meditation experience called the Auric Field Expansion Meditation, which is a self healing and remote healing practice, to help one connect with one's larger Self (Spiritual Self). It is a practice to help on expand their inner landscape.

Bhakti Foundations is a practice that you will learn how to hold inversions for longer periods of time, learn how to sit comfortably in meditation and focus the mind through learning breathing techniques. Each class meeting, we will continue to grow and layer on more knowledge, philosophy and physical aspects of yoga in an effort to keep expanding.
